HappyI'm glad I invested in these. I use Masson jars for all kinds of things in my home. But my spices is a big majority. My fiance hated that we didn't have shaker lids, but when I found these I figured it couldn't hurt. Never been more thrilled. Will be adding more to my spice cabinet with in the year or so.

As expectedAs expected - these worked fine. You should just know that the holes are large so they would not be good for anything very powdery. Work best for dried herb/flaked like spices.

ImprovisedMy black lids are to big for my spice jars. I removed the silicone ring from my old jar lids and placed that around the jar opening and the black lids fit perfectly.

Love these little guys!I love the mini-Ball jars so much that I bought a whole bunch and put my spices into matching jars for the first time in my life! These lids fit perfectly, and make the jars more versatile. You can shake/sprinkle from one side, and pour/measure from the other, WITHOUT REMOVING THE LID. I hate those two-piece lids, which you need two hands to operate, and you have to pry off the inner lid if you need a larger amount of spice.Although I try to avoid plastic when possible, metal lids on spice jars tend to rust eventually, and these won't, so...yay!Slight drawbacks:1) The lids could use a marking or design on the side with the "sprinkle holes," so you don't accidentally open the wrong side and dump out too much spice;2) The tabs fit so tightly that it's hard to flip them up with a thumb, so I often end up needing two hands anyway;3) Most pre-made spice labels will have to be cut to fit on the lids, if you want to be able to open the tabs.

Perfect fit for.....These spice jar tops are perfect for the organic spicely brand spices. For some reason this company stopped putting tops on their spices that had the holes for easily distributing the spices. With them being wide open it was really hard to use them. So I searched and found that these fit those bottles just perfectly. Please read the description, the manufacturer claims that this will not fit on a standard size spice jar like tones and mccormick.
